HAAT has ISO 9001:2000 certification for its quality systems for "Design, Manufacture, Installation & Commissioning, Servicing, Operation & Maintenance of Incinerators, Thermal Oxidisers, Trash Destructors, Special Loading & De-ashing Systems, Heat Recovery Systems, Venturi Scrubbers, Dust Collectors, Chimneys, Autoclaves, Shredders, Needle Destroyers and other allied Waste Management Equipment".

Haat has sales and service centres in major towns in India. The manufacturing facility is equipped with a laboratory for testing all materials that go into production. Haat employs about 60 people with qualified and experienced engineers in key functions like Production, Quality Control, Service, Marketing, etc.

Quality Control & Inspection

The Inspection and testing of raw materials and the product in various stages of production is as per the "Inspection Plan".

Inspection and Testing are performed using calibrated equipment.

A. Incoming Inspection:

1. Incoming inspection is performed on incoming raw materials, bought out items and semi-finished incoming products on receipt of a Material Receipt Note from Stores.

2. In case of bought out items that are available in sealed packing, visual inspection is carried out to ascertain the physical integrity.

3. No material is taken up for further processing without undergoing inspection and testing as per the Inspection Plan.

4. In case of semi-finished products, the inspection is done referring to the drawing and sketches.

5. In case of rework, the same is treated as per the procedure for non-confirming products.

B. In-Process Inspection:

1. In-process inspection is carried out on the product at different stages of production.

2. In case any rework is to be done, the same is communicated through the Inspection Report.

3. Inspection is carried out after such rework and the details of the inspection are recorded in the Inspection Report

4. No product is allowed to proceed further without undergoing inspection and passing the same.

C. Final Inspection:

1. Final inspection is carried out as per the Inspection Plan on the product to ensure that all the product specifications are met.

2. No product is despatched from the factory without conducting necessary tests.
