Ingenious Design: |
|
The design
concept of this incinerator
enables the use of only one
burner in place of two, thereby
enabling high cost savings. The
incinerator contains two
chambers housed in the same
shell. Waste that is loaded in
the primary chamber is burnt and
the products of combustion flow
above the hearth, change
direction and flow across the
primary chamber grate into the
secondary after-burn chamber.
The flue gases pass through the
core of the burner flame and
travel again to the primary
chamber for re-circulation
providing for the extended dwell
time before emission, thereby
enabling complete destruction of
suspended carbon particulates,
smoke, fumes and odour.
Norms
Followed: |
|
|
As per the
notification of the Ministry of
Environmental and Forests dated
20th July 1998, regarding
standards for incinerators, our
equipment satisfies the
requirements as follows: |
|
-
Two chambers
(primary and secondary)
-
Combustion
efficiency 99.00%
-
Temperature in
the primary chamber is 800°C ±
50°C
-
Secondary
chamber gas residence time is equal
to or greater than 1.0 second at a
temperature of 1050°C ± 50°C,
with minimum 3% oxygen in the stack
gas
-
Emission
standards within the required
levels
-
Volatile organic
compounds in ash not more than
0.01%
